Shahin Heidari started his professional career in 1999 . In 2006, he co-founded a consulting engineering and architecture firm, New Wave Architecture along with Lida Almasian. Since then, they have worked on various projects ranging from small to large-scale designs including residential, administrative, commercial, cultural, sports, and healthcare projects. The approach of novelty, creativity, and striving to open new boundaries in his projects has been the main approach to architecture and planning.
Heidari has won many prestigious awards in many national and international architectural competitions. Some of his prominent projects co-designed with Lida Almasian include the Mosha Villa Project, Pars Rasht Hospital, Turbosealtech New Incubator and Office building, Sistan and Baluchistan University Restaurant, Meygun Residential Complex, Polour Rock Gym, and the Auditorium and Central Library of Semnan University. He was also has been awarded the WAFX best architectural ideas and best examples of world health projects at the World Architecture Festival in 2019 for the Pars Medical and Health Center, Bandar Abbas. He has been a judge in multiple architecture competitions nationally and internationally, including being a judge at the 2018 World Architecture Festival.
In 2023, he founded New Wave Architecture Studio in California "A new approach for a different perspective internationally."
